Irrigation Systems

When it comes to your lawn and garden, making sure it gets sufficient water should be the least of your worries. At TPS Landscaping, we understand the stress and extra work that a drought can cause. That is why we have decided to expand our residential services to include irrigation systems and their installation. Never again will you have to worry about whether or not your plants are getting enough water, with our automatic watering system.

There are a few types of different irrigation systems, drip irrigation, which targets the root area of your plant and slowly water one drop at a time and sprinkler irrigation, which can cover larger areas of your lawn and garden at a faster rate.

Irrigation systems are a fantastic way to save water and money. The best time of day to water your plants is right before daybreak. The temperature is cooler and there is less evaporation occurring, so your plants are able to absorb more of the water given. Since your water isn’t evaporating before it can reach your plant roots, it takes less water to achieve the same plant saturation as is desirable midday. Most people also don’t want to wake up before daybreak so that they can water their plants, and that is the beauty of an irrigation system. On the control panel you are able to program a daily watering schedule that includes the times and lengths of the watering sessions.

Making sure that you are resetting your system with the seasons to reflect the need for more or less water is important. Of course we can also assist you in deciding how you want to program your system to water. Newly sodded or seeded lawns need more attentive care than older established lawns, to ensure that the seedlings sprout and begin to grow roots. Irrigation systems even have the ability to sense how much water your plants are consuming and can adjust how much is given. This avoids water waste and over-watering.

For a limited time, a purchase of an irrigation system includes a free winterization for your lawn next winter, so order now!
